Warring States Papers

The Project's Sinological journal Warring States Papers, and its little sister Alpha, make available, in conveniently citable form, some of the material developed and discussed in the Project study group and its wider acquaintance circle, including the Warring States Project's distributed Notes and Queries, and its Conferences and E-mail dialogue, going back to 1993. This body of material, plus relevant new research from scholars around the world, is here drawn upon and given permanent form. WSP first appeared in 2012 (cover date 2010), and despite delays, is meant to be on an annual schedule thereafter. Publication will resume with v2. with cover date of 2022).

Individual Volumes, with their cover dates, whether completed or in progress, are:

• WSP v1 (2010)
• WSP v2 (2022, almost complete)
• WSP v3 (2023, many articles complete)
• WSP v4 (2024), uncertain
• WSP v5 (2025), rudimentary; probably the last volume of WSP
